Dr Bronwyn Sudholz
Clinical Health Psychologist (BHlth Sc, BA(Hons), DPsych(Health), MAPS)
Bronwyn is a registered Clinical Health Psychologist, with a particular interest & expertise in helping teenagers and adults manage chronic health conditions, persistent pain, health anxiety, eating disorders, and thrive in areas of health and performance (i.e., sport, work).
Bronwyn has over 10 years’ experience in health psychology, gained from private and community settings, as well as at Deakin University in research and teaching. She completed a Doctorate in Psychology (Health) and is a registered Health Psychologist & supervisor (AHPRA), and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS).
Bronwyn has expertise in various evidence-based therapies: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Schema Therapy. Prior to her Doctorate, she gained majors in Psychology, Nutrition and Exercise Science in her Double Bachelors’ Degree, and worked in fitness, health coaching and corporate health.

Bronwyn has a passion for not only helping people overcome diversity, but to also thrive and live a life according to their values. She is committed to an evidence-based practice and appreciates the multiple influences and interactions between physical and mental health. Bronwyn strives to develop a trusting and supportive environment to optimise a creative and practical approach to enhance ones’ wellbeing and potential. She also seeks to understand what is important to her clients and draws on their strengths to empower them in reaching their goals. Her friendly and approachable personality compliments her excellent skills in engaging, motivating and creating a sound therapeutic relationship.

Works with adolescents and adults in the areas of depression, anxiety, trauma and personality disorders, and has a particular interest and expertise in the areas of:
- Sport and work related performance concerns
- Disordered eating and eating disorders
- Persistent pain management
- Adjusting to and managing acute and chronic illnesses (e.g. diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease)
- Health anxiety and somatic symptoms and related disorders
