Dr Marta Safavi has commenced an Australian Sport & Exercise Physician registrar training program at Ballarat Sports Medicine under the guidance of Dr Greg Harris. Marta has trained abroad, completing her medical studies at the Azad University, Tehran Medical Branch in 2008 and studied towards her Iranian Sport & Exercise Medicine fellowship at the Iran University of Medical Sciences from 2014-2018. 

Marta served as the national team doctor for Asian Youth Para Games in 2017 and Asian Para Games in 2018. Marta is a highly skilled Sport & Exercise Medicine practitioner who is already consulting and treating patients with or without referrals.
