Dr Bronwyn Sudholz

Bronwyn Sudholz has been a registered psychologist since 2011, she completed a Doctorate in Psychology with a specialisation in the area of Health. She is registered Health Psychologist (AHPRA) and a member of the Australia Psychological Society (MAPS).
Bronwyn has experience and expertise in clinical health psychology, teaching and lecturing, research, behaviour change, and physical and mental health interventions, and has a number of published research articles. She has worked in various settings (e.g., hospitals, schools, universities, private practice, community mental health and workplaces) with individuals and groups across the age spectrum. She has experience and expertise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Schema Therapy.
In addition to working one day a week in private practice, Bronwyn is currently working at Pomegranate Community Mental Health (St John of God) as a Psychologist and the Clinical Coordinator. Prior to completing her Doctorate in Psychology, Bronwyn completed a Bachelors Degree in Arts (majors psychology with Hons.) and a Bachelors Degree in Health Science (majors Exercise Science & Nutrition) and she gained experience in fitness, health coaching, and corporate health.
Bronwyn has a particular interest in assisting individuals to cope and or adjust to acute and chronic physical and mental health conditions, and thrive in areas of health and performance (e.g. work & sport). She is committed to an evidence-based practice, and appreciates the multiple influences and interactions between physical and mental health,019 and the importance of working collaboratively with a variety of health professionals.
Bronwyn has a passion for helping people overcome diversity and thrive when confronted with gaps between their hopes, expectations and reality. She strives to develop a trusting and supportive environment to optimise a creative and practical approach to enhance individuals’ wellbeing and potential. She also seeks to understand what is important to her clients and draws on their strengths to empower them to reach their goals. Her friendly and approachable personality compliments her excellent skills in engaging, motivating and creating a sound therapeutic relationship with her clients.
