    Many sporting competitions and organisations require participants or applicants to gain a medical clearance.This may be for specific injuries or a more general medical check.

    For certain injuries you may be directed to get a Sports Medicine or Orthopaedic specialist assessment. Examples of this include applications for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) or Emergency Services. 

    Our Sports & Exercise doctors can perform these assessments, but please bring along any requesting letters so we can answer the request appropriately. 

    If you have any scans or other test results relating to the condition to be assessed please bring them too.

    We can also provide return to sport assessment after injury. Assessment of concussion usually requires an extended consultation to fully ensure that you are ready to return to sport.
