Ballarat Surgeon becomes Member of Australian Knee Society
Mr Luke Spencer and Mr David Mitchell attended the 2017 Combined Orthopaedic Knee Societies meeting of Australia, Great Britain, New Zealand and South Africa. Guest speaker was Alan Getgood specialising in complex knee reconstruction. It was a full scientific program. Australian Orthopaedic Knee Society’s aim is to continue to advance the science and understanding of disorders of the knee, and to advance the treatment thereof.
The members are a speciality group of surgeons limited by qualifications, fellowship and standard of training. There are 14 members in Victoria and we are very proud to announce that Mr Luke Spencer has been appointed a new member of the society.
This now means of the 15 members in Victoria, two are in Ballarat, and both at Ballarat OSM as Mr David Mitchell has been a member for some years. This is testament to the high level of specialised qualifications and skills held by the surgeons at Ballarat OSM and that are available for the benefit of the people of Ballarat and region.
Congratulations Mr Luke Spencer.
