Our practice is built on partnerships between the independent practitioners and with patients General Practitioners. We are keen to provide service & access to enhance that relationship
If a few words of telephone advice is all that’s required, usually one of the consultant surgeon’s are in the rooms & will help. The surgeons and sports medicine doctors can access virtually all radiology departments in the western district to review images.
All traditional mechanisms of making appointments still exist, but if you like – urgent appointments can be made through our patient “make appointment” web app. A minimum amount of data needs to be inserted and any feedback to admin@ballaratosm.com.au is welcome.
If a patient has been referred by a third party – for example an emergency department – we will enquire as to who the patient’s GP is. This is so we can keep you in the loop, and will seek background information about our shared patient.
